Congratulations are to Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari as the actors said ‘Qabool Hai’ in a dreamy Nikkah ceremony on 7th February. In a series of pictures from the event, Aly took to Instagram and shared the big moment of her life, “Saboor Ali for Life. To the new beginnings,” she wrote
We’ve seen brides wear reds, pinks, and pastels, but golden remains our favorite. The color golden looks magnificent, vibrant and there’s something about it which we can’t get over. We can say that a bride’s trousseau is incomplete without an outfit in this color. Saboor made a stunning bride, keeping her look classic and elegant. She wore a stunning gold sharara by Faiza Saqlain.
The silhouette of this golden set was a traditional one rendered using tissue, organza, and silk featuring classic embroideries referenced from the ’90s. The hand-crafted details and hours go into making this sharara set make it an exquisite piece. Aly wore exquisite jewelry pieces like a maala set paired with a choker, teeka, and jhoomar. It was a day wedding; therefore, she kept her makeup soft.
In the words of designer Faiza Saqlain, “Saboor came to us with a clear idea of the kind of look she wanted for her big day. She put her trust in Faiza to design a silhouette of her dreams that would endure time and was reminiscent of olden times.”
The groom Ali Ansari was also styled by Saqlain. Decoding his look she said, “a self-striped canvas was used to construct a delicately hand-embellished sherwani set. He chose a knee length and a carefully constructed cut to accentuate the shoulders and create a flattering shape throughout the festivities during his big day.”
Ali penned a heartwarming note for ‘wifey’ Saboor, “It still feels unreal but I love the fact that I’m married to you. All these years we knew each other but never thought we would end up as each other’s soul mates. It’s true when they say God created you in pairs, blessed to have you as my life partner,” he concluded with a promise. “Will promise to love and take care of you forever.”
The ceremony was attended by several celebrities including Zara Noor Abbas, Urwa Hocane, Aiman Khan, and Kinza Hashmi, among others.
