Comedian Ali Gul Pir and Dr. Azeemah Nakhoda are now officially married. Naturally, the couple wore several head-turning outfits throughout their wedding festivities. The pair dazzled in custom ensembles not only at all their wedding ceremonies but also at the celebrations leading up to their nuptials.
The first photos to surface from Pir and Nakhoda’s festivities was the Nikkah ceremony on December 24. The bride wore a bright red outfit with heavy embroidery detailing by Zainab Zulfiqar. While Azeemah turns head with her traditional attire and red pout, Pir wore a white kurta pygama paired with an ivory waistcoat. They looked like a dream together.
At the Mehendi ceremony, Ali looked stunning in Republic by Omar Farooq’s bespoke attire. His blue waistcoat was the highlight. We love the subtlety and simplicity of the outfit. The bride was seen in a multi-color sharara by Nomi Ansari which she teamed up with a dupatta of the same detailing. We especially loved the trendy subdued shade of green and those amazing jewelry and matha patti! Such a nice and classy Mehendi look for a bride.
For the wedding, Azeemah wore Nida Azwer. The intricately hand-crafted lama French chantelle lace bridal ensemble was as traditional as it gets. Pir picked a heavily embroidered beige gold sherwani Republic by Omar Farooq.
The festivities ended with a grand reception. Keeping the black-bow dress code in mind, Pir simply looked stunning. The bride once again choose a Nomi Ansari creation, which was paired with some exquisite vintage jewelry by her mother-in-law which according to us, was the highlight of her look.
Guests included actor Mansha Pasha, Anoushey Ashraf, and Zhalay Sarhadi. Content creator Amtul Baweja of Patangeer also attended.
Gul Pir and Nakhoda announced their engagement on Instagram last year in January with photos from what looked like an intimate family affair.
