Talking about his new collection, Mohsin Naveed Ranjha wrote on Instagram, “Having a decided tilt towards our cultural heritage, it was natural that we follow up our Radio Pakistan collection with one celebrating the classics of Pakistani cinema and Ilyas Rashidi’ Nigar Awards. Lollywood has had the best music and movies became immortal by combining audio-visual creativity on celluloid from Madam Noor Jehan, then later Mussarat Nazeer and even down to Naseebo Lal. These are the songs that are remembered and reprised even today at parties, and music shows. They are even being sung across the border. Last year when we launched our first unstitched collection Zarlish 2021, we pledged that we will donate the proceeds from sales of the ensembles to charity and this year too we are continuing with our pledge but with renewed vigour.”
