The Lux Style Awards (LSA) season is a magical time for the industry. It’s an occasion when the entire fraternity comes together to celebrate the best of talent. The 22nd edition of LSA 2023 marked a spectacular celebration of Pakistani talent, glamour, and creativity. Friday night (October 6) was dubbed as the biggest night in the entertainment industry of Pakistan, as the LSA held at Karachi’s Expo Centre was a dazzling affair that showcased the vibrancy and diversity of Pakistan’s entertainment landscape.
The star-studded guest list comprised of big names from the industry such as Saba Qamar, Sarmad Khoosat, Ali Xeeshan, Hania Aamir, Yumna Zaidi, Shae Gill, Zarah Sarfaraz, Fahad Hussyn, Hussain Rehar, Amna Ilyas, Vaneeza Ahmed, Sarwat Gillani, Kiran Malik, Imran Ashraf, Fahad Mustafa to name a few.
High on Fashion
The women on the red carpet dazzled in resplendent gowns, while the men made a statement in finely tailored suit sets. The night was a display of a wide range of fashion styles, from saris, pantsuits to boots and tuxedos, the celebrities left no stone unturned in showcasing their best fashion sense and glamour on the red carpet.

Team PH Solutions Scores Big
First things first, a big round of applause for team PH Solutions. The 22nd edition of LSA got a dazzling new makeover. One could feel the grandiosity in the vicinity. Little details were taken care of; like the red carpet transformed into a ring making ample space and convenience for the print and digital media. The attendees felt like stars while moving around and watching their favorite celebrities oozing glamour and commuting with the media.
The stars were headed towards the ‘Lumiverse’, a space designed to capture them in all their splendor and glamour. The mesmerizing stage, dazzling lights, and humongous digital backdrop were pleasing to the eyes. The pre-recorded performances proved to be a huge sigh of relief for the audience. Every attendee had an exquisite experience thanks to the caterers and photo booths on the red carpet.
A Great Start To A Big Night
The event was hosted by credible hosts like Fahad Mustafa, Saba Qamar, Ahmed Ali Butt alongside Durrefishan Saleem. Mustafa and Qamar’s banter brought the house down on several occasions. The memoriam section paid tribute to actors, makeup artists, and designers like Tony Navaid, Ismail Tara, Afzal Ahmed, Imran Aslam, Zia Mohyeddin, Qavi Khan, Aaliya Nazir, Shakeel, and Natasha Saigol with sadness and pride. The event started on a high note with Faisal Kapadia, Shae Gill and Young Stunners captivating the crowd with a soulful rendition of ‘Us Raah Per’.
The Winners
Pasoori swept away with a maximum number of awards including Singer of the Year (Ali Sethi), Most Streamed Song of the Year, and Music Producer of the Year (Abdullah Siddiqui and Xulfi). Meanwhile, Kaifi Khalil of ‘Kahani Suno’ won the Song of the Year award.
For the TV category, powerhouse performers Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas won the Best TV Actor Awards for Bakhtawar and Dobara respectively. Zaidi made history by winning both critic’s choice categories making her the highest award-winning female actor in the TV category for the LSAs.
Aleena Naqvi registered herself as the first woman to be awarded Fashion Photographer of the Year! Dananeer Mobeen was recognized as the Best Emerging Talent.
It was a big night for Sarmad Khoosat as Kamli was nominated in six categories and won three awards including Film of the Year Critics’ Choice, Film Director of the Year Critics’ Choice and Best Film Actor of the Year Female (Saba Qamar).
Reema Khan became the recipient of the Youngest Lifetime Achievement Award. Saba Qamar danced to Khan’s super hit songs and paid tribute to her. Veteran actor Marina Khan was awarded the Lux Change Maker Award.
Stepping In The Right Direction
Summing it up, the 22nd edition of Lux Style Awards Pakistan 2023 was a night to remember, showcasing the best of Pakistani cinema, television, music, and fashion. As the country continues to make strides in the global entertainment arena, the LSA’s play a crucial role in celebrating and promoting the rich cultural tapestry of Pakistan.
