The designer who won hearts with his impeccable acting skills in Pehli Si Muhabbat and Ishrat Made In China has signed anuntitled telefilm opposite the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz actress Mehwish Hayat.
The Announcement
Taking to his Instagram account, HSY shared a post that featured him with Hayat. He wrote, “Proud to announce that I will be starring in my next TV project for ARY with non-other than the incredible Mehwish Hayat.”

The Makers
The telefilm is directed by Ahmed Bhatti and written by FaizaIftikhar. Bankrolled by Abdullah Seja of iDreams entertainment, the project will air on ARY Digital. According to close sources, the untitled telefilm might be named Ijazat. (The final confirmation is yet to be made).

In an exclusive conversation with Galaxy Lollywood, HSY said, “I’m very excited to be playing this new role in this telefilm,” states HSY in an exclusive quote. “The exciting part is that it’s poles apart from the two completely different characters I’ve played of Akram in Pehli Si Mohabbat and Mangshi in Ishrat: Made In China. This is a completely different guy, a completely different character. His sensitivities are completely different. His way of approaching life and seeing things is completely different.”

HSY and Hayat fans are in for a treat as the two stars will share the screen space for the first time. Moreover, HSY has done the styling himself and designed a specific look for his character.
