Everyone has witnessed the charm and charisma that Ushna Shah exudes when playing in dramas. She’s a shape shifter and gets into the skin of any character with utmost ease. Shah ruled 2022 and left everyone stunned with her flawless act as (Ayesha Basit Khan) in Habs. Also starring Feroze Khan in a pivotal role, the drama directed by Mussadiq Malik was a major success and won many hearts. On the personal front, the actor started 2023 on a great note as she got married to the love of her life Hamza Amin.
After a brief hiatus, Shah is back with a bang. She took to her Instagram stories and revealed an interesting sneak peek of her new project ‘Ghair’ with a screenshot. It also features Adeel Hussainas the main lead hero.
“Why is it that no matter how early I get my script, I always start reading (skimming) the night BEFORE the first day of shoot.” She wrote.
She added, “I sign projects based on the story narration. I’m lazy. I don’t condone this.”
While many details about the plot are being kept confidential, the shooting of the ‘Ghair’ has begun. Interestingly, this is her first TV outing post-wedding. The drama is penned by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Yasir Nawaz. Produced by Six Sigma Ghair will air on ARY Digital soon.

For the unversed Shah and Hussain have featured together in ‘Akhir Kab Tak’. The duo shared an intense chemistry and we can’t wait to witness the magic back on screen. On the work front Adeel Hussain’s ongoing drama ‘Pyari Mona’ has received a lukewarm response. Hussain is pinning high hopes with this one.
