Attention folks! Mahira Khan’s upcoming project ‘Razia’ tackles the intricacies of such issues in a breathtakingly delicate, subtle, and layered manner. Earlier this week, Khan teased fans with the initial teaser of the miniseries. She wrote on her Instagram, “When I heard the story, I said yes in a heartbeat. Grateful to be part of this story… no less the narrator of it.”

‘Razia’ explores the journey of a young girl who is subjected to various evils of society. His patriarchal father played by Mohib Mirza leaves no stone unturned to suppress and degrade her daughter. How she gets pass the trauma forms the rest of the story.
Mahira Khan’s as the narrator is the trailer’s standout feature. She appears to be in her element and as usual, looks stunning. The thought-provoking dialogues will make viewers explore sensitive issues handled with a twist. The trailer accomplishes its goal of letting viewers know about the plot and demonstrating how ‘Razia’ delivers important messages in a light yet strong manner.
Written and directed by Mohsin Ali,‘Razia’ is produced by Hina Aman and Kamran Afridi. It also features Momal Shaikh, Mohib Mirza, Shahzad Mallick, and Parveen Akhbar in important roles. It will air on Express Entertainment. The release date of the project is yet to be announced.
