Cricketer Naseem Shah Embraces Stardom as an ‘All Rounder’

Team Pakistan could not won the Asia Cup Final 2022 but they surely performed as a strong unit. During the tour Pakistan’s new sensation Naseem Shah astonished everyone both with the bat and ball and embraced stardom as an all-rounder. In a crucial game against Afghanistan, the teenager led the men in green reach the finale of the Asia Cup match by hitting two sixes in the last over. This memorable moment will surely go down in the history for Pakistani cricket fans. After Javed Miandad and Shahid Afridi, everyone will remember Shah’s sixes.

The Game-Changing Moment

Pakistanwas chasing 130 runs and had lost six wickets making it a total of nine, for just 31 runs. With 11 more needed, the tenth batsman, Naseem Shah, entered the field and hits two consecutive sixes in the last over, taking it home. The crowd went into a state of shock.

 

Words of Wisdom 

Before leaving for Asia Cup 2022, Naseem Shah promised his mentor Sulieman Qadir son of Abdul Qadir, that he would do his best to be a superstar of Pakistan cricket. Sulieman had told him if he does well in the next six months, he can be the superstar like Shaheen Afridi. But who would have imagined the young boy would embrace stardom in such a grand way.

Naseem Shah was appreciated by captain Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, former cricketer Younus Khan and Waseem Akram also congratulated him personally. Not just that, the entire entertainment fraternity crowned Shah as the ‘King’.
