Actress Hira Mani has come a long way in proving her mettle in various successful dramas. Over the course of her eight-year acting career, projects like Do Bol, Ghalati, Yaqeen Ka Safar, Bandish, Sun Yaara and Kashf made her join the league of top actresses.
A great actress is one who completely sinks in the role that she has to portray, but is also expected to do multiple roles that are written for her. Unfortunately, Hira is struggling to do different roles and is fallen into the trap of typecasting.
The Real Issue
Of late, viewers were taken aback to see Hira as the typical muzloom aurat in daily soap ‘Mein Hari Piya‘. We don’t doubt her acting skills, but honestly her character Sarah didn’t had much to do except weep. What came as a bigger shock were the promos of her upcoming daily soap ‘ Yeh Na Thi Hamari Qismat ‘ that has Hira playing a damsel in distress yet again. We ask why?

Lack of Versatility
Going by the teaser promos, the basic plotline revolves around a typical household where two girls having different views and priorities are seen getting married. Hira is paired with actor Muneeb Butt who considers her as bad luck. Hira is seen proving herself as a good bahu who in return gets no sympathy.
Final Word
To be quite honest, it’s a travesty because Hira is a promising actor who is capable of delivering much more than what she’s restricted herself to. Honestly, it’s getting a bit tiring.
