Fatima Jinnah has been in the news for quite some time. The intriguing first look impressed big time and viewers couldn’t wait to watch the final product. The makers at the independence eve released the OST that revealed the entire cast of the magnum opus web series.

Estonia-based composer Shehryar Khan weaves magic and creates a mystery element of the patriotic aura. It confirms the presence of Aamir Qureshi as Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Sarmad Khoosat as Mahatma Gandhi, Usman Mukhtar as Allama Iqbal and Sundus Farhan as Fatima Jinnah.
The three seasons will show Fatima Jinnah’s three different times of her life. The first season will have two volumes and 10 episodes, starting in 1910 and will include her brother Muhammad Ali Jinnah as winner of the first Muslim seat in Bombay, World War I, the Lucknow Pact, the relationship between Jinnah and his future wife Ruttan bai Petit and Fatima Jinnah’s strained relationship with her future sister-in-law.
Fatima Jinnah will further delve into the personal life of Jinnahs with Omair Rana and Anoushay Ashraf playing the parents, Jinnah bhai Poonja and Mithi bai Jinnah. Popular names like Samina Ahmad as Manbai Jinnah, Mazhar Sehbai as Pheroze shah Mehta, Kubra Khan as Homai Vyarawalla, Amna Ilyas as Sarojini Naidu, Mamia Shah gaffar as Ruttie Petit, and Sheherzade Peerzada as Mehr Asghar will also be gracing the screen. For the unversed, actor Sajal Aly was also a part of Fatima Jinnah. Her exit according to director Danial K Afzal was a “matter of disassociation and not withdrawal”. (Quote Source: Samaa).
The web series is based on the life of Fatima Jinnah through her mantle of being a supportive sister, a revolutionist, a stateswoman and eventually as a Mother of the Nation. The project will air on ARY Digital soon.
