Actor Sohail Ahmed is making headlines for all the right reasons lately. The veteran actor is giving his fans a lot of reasons to celebrate his achievements. Ahmed’s last couple of releases, London Nahi Jaunga and Dum Mastam took over the theatres. They were praised by both the masses and critics. While we were still enjoying his various class acts, the actor shared yet another piece of news and it is a big one indeed.
Sohail Ahmed is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the Indian Punjabi movie ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde’. The film features Sohail in a pivotal role alongwith Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. The trailer of the upcoming comedy, which was recently released, shows Ahmed in his comfort zone, given the genre of the film.

Synopsis
The plot of the film revolves around Lover singer and his group of friends who are discussing money-making ideas. They end up adopting a father to earn money from an insurance policy. Enter Sargun Mehta, working for an old age home agrees to be part of Dosanjh’s plan by leaking health information about her clients. Sohail Ahmed plays the father; his health deteriorates in the beginning as soon as he arrives. But the situation takes a drastic turn from what Dosanjh and his friends had planned.
Diljit Dosanjh took to Twitter and announced the release date of the film “Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne Releasing on This DUSSEHRA 5th October Official Poster Coming,” he wrote along with the poster. Earlier, the film was scheduled for September 30 release but now will release on Dussehra, October 5.

Babe Bhangra Paunde has reportedly been shot in the USA. The film is directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and produced by Daljit Thind & Diljit Dosanjh.
