Actor Shahroz Sabzwari is on a roll as his next drama serial ‘Mubarika’ is an international project, a joint production between Pakistan and Malaysia. The comedy play is written by Dr. Younis Butt and features Hina Dilpazir, Javed Sheikh, Dua Mughal, Faisal Naqvi, Areej Mohiuddin and two actors from Malaysia and Russia.
In an exclusive conversation, Shahroz spoke about his role and said, “I play a doctor who studies in Malaysia. On his return to Pakistan, his grandfather (Javed Sheikh) wants him to get married. On the contrary, he already likes a girl from Malaysia, and another girl comes from Russia. ‘Mubarika’ will air in Malaysia as a web series.”
Talking about his upcoming projects, he said, “My next is ‘Pehli Baarish’ on Geo Entertainment. It stars Saboor Aly and Aijaz Aslam. The play is directed by Shehrazade Sheikh and I am excited for this one.”
