The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) is happening and the excitement on social media is palpable. While there have been criticisms in the past about the standard of cricket that is played in the tournament, Former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a big statement about the quality of cricket in the PSL 2022.





Michael Vaughan shared his views on PSL 2022 via a tweet. His tweet read: “Pakistan Super league is the 2nd best T20 Tournament in the World .. it’s not far off the IPL either… Outstanding standard of cricketโ€ฆ

Michael Vaughan is famous for his tweets, teasing Indian cricket fans from time to time, but this seems like genuine praise from the former Ashes-winning England skipper for the franchise T20 league in Pakistan.

 

Meanwhile, the 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) is currently underway in Karachi. And, the Multan Sultans have emerged as the team to beat. The Sultans have won all 4 matches that they have played in the competition thus far, and are sitting at the top of the table. The Karachi Kings are placed at the last position. The PSL 2022 will conclude on 27th February.
