Sajal Ali Set to Receive Prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz Award

Pakistani sensation Sajal Ali is set to receive the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz this Saturday, March 23, at the Governor House in Punjab, Lahore. This award, among Pakistan’s top civilian honors, celebrates individuals who have made noteworthy achievements in their areas of expertise, bringing honor to the nation.

Speaking exclusively to The Express Tribune, Sajal said, “It’s a great honour for me to receive this prestigious recognition. It feels like just yesterday I had entered the industry and to be honest, it feels surreal. I am grateful to my fraternity, fans and family for their constant support.”

Mystery Surrounds Sarmad Khoosat’s Omission from Presidential Awards

Sarmad Khoosat, who was granted the esteemed Sitar-e-Imtiaz award in August 2023 for his significant contributions to the entertainment sector in Pakistan, recently disclosed on his Instagram account that his name has been removed from the distinguished list.

“My name has vanished from the 14 August ’23 list of Presidential Awards that everyone ‘officially’ and unofficially congratulated me for,” posted the actor and director, just days before the awards are to be officially announced on 23 March commemorating top achievements in the country.

Musician Umair Jaswal recently updated his followers on his Instagram account, informing them that he has recovered from a workout injury and expressing gratitude to his committed team of trainers and physiotherapists.
