A Night of Pure Cinema and Star Power
The red carpet was a literal firewalk of fashion and fame as the cast and crew of the year’s most anticipated action-comedy, Aag Lagay Basti Mein, gathered for its grand premiere. The air was thick with excitement as fans and fellow celebrities lined up to catch a glimpse of the “Power Trio”—Fahad Mustafa, Mahira Khan, and Tabish Hashmi.
Fahad Mustafa, looking every bit the superstar, shared his excitement about playing ‘Barkat,’ a character he describes as a “struggling man pushed to the edge.” Beside him, Mahira Khan stunned the crowd, stepping away from her usual “girl-next-door” roles to portray ‘Almaas,’ a bold and fiercely ambitious woman who drives the film’s gritty narrative.

The Villain We Love to Hate
Making a splash in his big-screen debut, comedian and host Tabish Hashmi proved he is more than just quick-witted punchlines. Portraying the antagonist ‘Chotay Sahab,’ Tabish brought a unique blend of menace and charisma to the red carpet, joking with the media that “it feels good to be the bad guy for once.”

From the Red Carpet to the Final Frame
The screening itself was an emotional rollercoaster. Produced by Big Bang Entertainment and ARY Films, the movie delivered on its promise of “paisa vasool” entertainment. As the credits rolled, the hall erupted in a standing ovation.
The film’s director, Bilal Atif Khan, along with industry veterans like Javed Sheikh and Salahuddin Tunio, were seen embracing the cast, marking a moment of true unity for the industry. As the Instagram caption from the night perfectly summarized:
“A night where the screens dimmed, but the stars only shined brighter… not just to watch a film, but to celebrate a moment, a story, and the fire it carries.”
