From ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ to ‘Lafangey’, Exciting Films To Light Up Theatres This EidulAzha!

The obsession of filmmakers with festive releases is nothing new. However, not all movies opening during festivals have a great time at the box office. Eid ul Azha is here and the special occasion calls for filmmakers to release their movies. The season brings families together and if you are dizzy with the festivities, entertaining cinema can be useful.

This year, three local films London Nahi Jaunga, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, and Lanfangey will lock horns with Hollywood film Thor. Scroll down the page to decide on which film to watch this Eid season with your family.

 

Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad

Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad is a super masaledar film that has all the ingredients to attract audiences. The film showcases the journey of a police officer ‘Gulab’ who is living a corrupt life. The patriotism in him awakens and he realizes his wrongdoings. Interestingly, the film is the first outing of Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan.  Laced with great music, comedy, action, romance, along with a social message, the film promises entertainment in abundance.

Lafangey

Lafangey is a horror comedy that revolves around four friends who get stuck in a haunted house. The plot further showcases how all of them sustain and compete with the supernatural beings there. The film also marks the cinematic debut of actress Nazish Jehangir.  If you like to see comedy without any logic then this film will surely be going to give you a hilarious treat this Eid.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Fans of the 2017 hit film Punjab Nahi Jaungi (PNJ) have all the reasons to get excited. London Nahi Jaunga isn’t a sequel or extension to PNJ, it’s a different script with the same feel. So far, the trailer and the songs look super exciting. Humayun shares excellent chemistry with Mehwish and Kubra both. Dialogues by Rehman are just perfect.  Also, the presence of Gohar Rasheed seems to be a breath of fresh air. All in all, the love triangle offers high-quality entertainment.
