Soon after we saw the thrilling teasers of drama serial Sang e Mah [moonstone] viewers have been eagerly waiting for the official Sang e Mah OST. Ahead of the grand cinematic and TV premiere of the first episode, the makers have released the highly anticipated OST. The soul-stirring music piece has been sung by Atif Aslam. It is composed by music maestro Sahir Ali Bagga with lyrics set down by Fatima Najeeb. The track when released became a crowd favorite; receiving monstrous love from millions all around.
Atif Aslam is one man who can never go wrong when it comes to singing a tune beautifully, and so when he croons the OST of Sang e Mah, you know you are in for a treat. This slow-burning anthem is a melody that touches the inner chord of emotions and feelings, which Sang e Mah aims to express. There is a certain classy feel to the proceedings and Aslam’s vocal gives a hypnotic effect to the track. It gives us a local flavor of Pakistan, it’s intense and the shenai flawlessly completes a pitch-perfect track.
The video montage features many tracks and how they take the narrative forward. There are romantic, intense and intriguing moments that are a treat to your eyes. The cast of Sang e Mah includes Naumaan Ijaz, Zaviyar, Atif Aslam, Hania Aamir, Kubra Khan, Omair Rana, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, Najiba Faiz, Hasan Noman amongst many others.
Produced under the banner of HUM TV (Momina Duraid), the play is written by Mustafa Afridi and directed by Saife Hasan. The first episode on TV will air on January 9, 2022, on HUM TV.
