With the 2nd annual Pakistan International Screen Awards (PISA ’21 less than two weeks away), taking place on November 5, 2021 at the stunning Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, Mesmerize Events – the conceptualizers, producers and organizers of the prestigious awards show, are delighted to announce that a specially-written patriotic song will premiere at the glittering event jointly sung by a quartet of popular child prodigies.
The four extremely talented and popular young singers include Mustafa Khan, Aashir Wajahat, Hadia Hashmi and Urooj Fatima.
The 17-year old Pakistani ex-pat Mustafa Khan who has 22.4K followers on Instagram is renowned as one of Dubai’s youngest Bollywood-style singers and has a YouTube channel called ‘MK Music’, which has 222K subscribers. Mustafa is celebrated as “A Master of Bollywood Mash ups” and enjoys putting his own twist to popular Bollywood songs. With no formal training in music. Mustafa was only thirteen-year-old when his second Bollywood Mashup of 2017 was released and has since hit 15 million views on YouTube. Mustafa who considers Arijit Singh as his mentor performed with leading singer Bilal Saeed at Dubai’s prestigious Masala Awards. The cover song and teaser of his number ‘Kaisa Rang Laaga’ was widely appreciated by celebrities including Adnan Sami Khan, Sonal Chauhan, Madhavan and Rapper Flint J, who applauded his talent on Twitter.
Singer, musician and actor Aashir Wajahat, 19, (son of famed film director, actor, screenwriter and producer Wajahat Rauf) who has 287,000 Followers on Instagram has released ten solo singles since 2016 including soundtracks ‘Tere Bina’ for the film ‘Lahore Sey Aagey’ (2016) where he debuted his music and acting career; and ‘Chhalawa’ for ‘Chhalawa ‘(2019).
Aashir who performs at concerts as a solo artist and collaborations has also appeared in several TV plays and TVCs.
Fourteen-year-old Quetta-born singer Urooj Fatima who has 78K followers on Instagram and is an UNICEF Adolescent Champion, first garnered attention in 2019 as a 12-year-old with her debut duet alongside actor, singer and producer Ali Zafar called Laila O Laila’ that followed Urooj’s journey and highlighted the beauty of her province Balochistan.
Urooj’s latest song ‘Allay’ – again duetting with Ali Zafar is nominated at the upcoming 2nd PISA Awards in the ‘Song of the Year’ category.
Ten-year-old singer Hadia Hashmi who has 11.5 K followers on Instagram first gained fame during her first appearance in Nescafé Basement Season 5 with the mesmerising Sufi kalaam “Bol Hu” in collaboration with Soch The Band which was published on YouTube in 2019 and garnered many global
YouTuber Reaction Videos.
Renowned for her God-gifted ability to hit amazingly high notes as well low ones, Hadia has been invited to many TV shows in Pakistan and has inspired a huge fan following of music lovers worldwide.
