Pakistani rising star Samar Jafri has his eyes set on Bollywood and beyond. In a candid chat on Golootlo’s Naam Faizan, hosted by Faizan, the young actor and musician opened up about his dream projects in both acting and music.
After earning fame as Fakihir in Mayi Ri and stepping into music with Parwarish, Samar revealed that he envisions making his Bollywood debut alongside Alia Bhatt. “I want my Bollywood debut to be with Alia Bhatt. A film like Student of the Year really excites me because I’m fond of how Karan Johar presents college students as heroes in his classic romantic style,” he shared.
Samar also expressed admiration for cricket legend Virat Kohli, calling him his “forever favourite.”
When it comes to music, Samar’s wishlist is equally ambitious. He dreams of collaborating with Kaavish on a soulful ballad and with Diljit Dosanjh on a high-energy Punjabi track. “A pure Punjabi vibe with Diljit and a slow romantic one with Kaavish — that’s the dream,” he said.
