The first teaser of feature film was ‘Mastani’ dropped on social media and it has already grabbed everyone’s attention. It introduces us to a new on-screen pair in town Affan Waheed and Amna Illyas that are sure to steal your heart away with their crackling chemistry.
Waheed took to IG and revealed the first look of ‘Mastani’
The teaser gives an overview of the plot that feels that we have entered into a colorful world full of love, loss ad heartbreak. It follows the innocent love of the lead pair that takes an intense turn.
‘Mastani’ is written and directed by Usman Rizvi and is slated to hit the screens in August. The film also features Hira Khan, Aadi Adeel Amjad, Parveen Akbar, Shahnawaz Zaidi, Abbas Ashraf Awan and Aamna Malick Malakeh.
In an exclusive conversation, Waheed spoke about ‘Mastani’ and said, “To be honest, I was a little intimidated and nervous because it’s my first film but the environment is great and I’m having fun. The producers contacted me and then I read the script. I didn’t want to jeopardise my drama career by signing something mediocre.”
Speaking about his character he said, “My character is this regular guy who’s simple and kind-hearted. He finds the love of his life, Aliyah, who is headstrong and lion-hearted, total opposite of the man. The film then shows what goes on in their life and so on.”
