The much-awaited Eid-ul-Azha release Lafangey’s official trailer is finally out and as expected the trailer is giving us all reasons to get spooked. Yes, Lafangey gives you the hilarious experience of comedy with an essence of horror. The stellar cast featuring Sami Khan, Mani, Saleem Mairaj, Mubeen Gabol, and Nazish Jehangir create their magic of comedy.

The Premise
The story of Lafangey reveals that there is a ghostly subplot to the narrative and the madness that ensues with a comical trademark stamped on it. It seems that the movie is set in a huge haveli where there is a myth about the presence of a ghost who scares its visitors. Since it’s a horror comedy, it has its fair share of laughs and jumps scares. The background score complements the visuals well. The trailer, towards the end, becomes horror-centric and sparks curiosity among the viewer’s instantly.
What to Expect
Lafangey promises just the right mix of horror and comedy along with some dialogues that are sure to make the viewer’s laugh till their stomachs ache. Surprisingly, all the Eid-ul-Azha releases have entirely different genres, so it will be refreshing for the audience to savor all the variety during the festive holidays. The fact that the horror-comedy genre hasn’t been much explored in Pakistan, will prove to be one of the biggest strengths for Lafangey in terms of box office revenue.

For all of those who prefer to watch comedy laced with horror with little logic, then Lafangey will surely be a hilarious treat for them. The film has been directed by Abdull khaaliq Khan, and produced by Tariq Habib Rind. Lafangey is slated to release on July 10 on the festive occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
