Mohib Mirza’s highly anticipated directorial film Ishrat Made in China had its premiere on March 2, in Nueplex cinema Karachi. The star cast of the film Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed, Sara Loren, HSY, Mani, Shabbir Jaan, Ali Kazmi and others along with members of the industry walked down the red carpet.

If you missed out on the celeb looks from the event, don’t worry! We at Fashion Times Magazine have all the details about who wore what and the looks that caught our eye, both in a good way and bad one.

Take a look at the hits and misses from the red carpet of ‘Ishrat Made In China’

HITS

Sanam Saeed

A saree making an appearance on the red carpet is rare these days but Sanam Saeed’s effortlessly chic saree by Sania Maskatiya brought elegance and grace at the red carpet. The quirky glasses were a smart choice.

Sara Loren

Simple yet statement-making, Sara Loren’s yellow and white gown with an aesthetic design is how you do the red carpet right. She kept the look bright with stunning accessories.

Mohib Mirza

Mohib Mirza gets it right almost every time when it comes to fashion. This time too, he wore a blue suit and complemented it with a new hairdo and glasses. It was clearly a hit. We are impressed!

Nadia Hussain

From the colour to the fit, Nadia Hussain completely nailed the red-carpet look with this red-hot top paired with fitted jeans. The hair and makeup too were perfectly in line with the look and drool-worthy.

Hira and Mani

Hira wore a stunning white bell-bottom with a cape. She kept the hair and makeup moderate. She looked stunning. Mani accompanied his better half perfectly and looked dapper in a blue suit.

Ishrat Made in China

Nida Yasir

The host who doesn’t fear experimenting with her looks wore a stunning black outfit with a white coat. One must applaud Nida’s fashion sense that has evolved over the years.

Ishrat Made in China

Maira Khan

Pick a black tea shirt with a fine pair of pants and you will be good to go like Maira. Her look was effortless and redefined comfort.

Ishrat Made in China

Muznah Ibrahim

Muznah looked like a retro diva in a knee-length midi dress. Her belt and boots caught our attention.  It was extremely wise of her to keep her outfit fuss-free yet bold.

MISSES

Shaista Lodhi

She may be ruling the TRP’s with her morning shows but the same is not the case when it is about fashion. The host turned actress looked like she was out of bed as she wore an unironed pink kurta with a polka dot shalwar paired with a loafer sneaker on the red carpet. Highly Disappointing!

Ishrat Made in China

Fahad Mirza

Fahad’s laid-back red-carpet look is a big no! The Bari Appa actor was literally publicizing his profession as we saw ‘plastic surgeon’ written on his shirt. One can go anything but casual for a red-carpet event.

Ishrat Made in China

Ali Kazmi

Nobody is perfect. We have seen Kazmi in rocking avatars earlier. But this one was not his best work.

Mohsin Abbas Haider

While we give him a big thumbs up for adding those extra colors in his coat, Mohsin’s idea of skipping the shirt and wearing beanies do not at all look good together.

Parveen Akbar

Too loud on the makeup, outfit, and overall look. What do you think?

Tara Mehmood

Tara looked elegant on the red carpet and the lovely saree accentuated her figure. The heavy neckpiece however gave us major ethnic wear goals but not red-carpet goals. Sad!
