Here’s All You Need To Know About Quick Style’s Recent Tour To Pakistan

The Oslo-based dance group ‘Quick Style’ which is now nothing short of a sensation across the world was recently in Pakistan for a collaboration with Coke Studio. The group rose to fame in Pakistan when a video of them dancing at a friend’s wedding got viral. Their energetic performances on Kana Yaari, Kala Chashma, Tumse Mil Ke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal and Chura Ke Dil Mera are the most sought dance routines for this year’s wedding season.

Claim to Fame and Inspiration

The group was founded by twin brothers Suleman Malik and Bilal Malik, and their Thai-Norwegian childhood friend Nasir Sirikhan. They won Norske Talenter, the Norwegian version of America’s Got Talent in 2019. They have also choreographed three songs for BTS including Save Me, Blood Sweat and Tears, and Boy with Luv. One of the founders Suleman Malik, said: “We all fell in love with the movement, the dance, and the whole dance community. We would watch videos on YouTube of different dancers such as Michael Jackson.”

Mahira Khan grooved with the Quick Style gang over her famous song Morey Saiyaan from the film Superstar, and the video went viral on the internet. Khan first performs solo and later on the entire gang joins in and follows her steps. All of them could be seen laughing and cheering and having a fun time together.

Another twist was the reprised version of Shazia Manzoor’s iconic ‘Batiyan Bujhai Rakhdi’ played in the background. The viral video has been watched by at least 2.7 million users of the photo and video-sharing application and drew an immense amount of love for Khan and Norwegian dancers across social media.

Big Announcement

Quick Style revealed their plans for all their Pakistani fans that they will be performing in Pakistan soon. “We are planning a big show in Pakistan,” said Bilal Malik.
