This upcoming film is a fantastical adaptation of the classical Urdu-Persian novel Hamzanama, bringing the legendary character Umro Ayyar to life a master thief and formidable warrior from the mystical realm of Tilism-e-Hoshruba. The trailer promises an epic tale of heroism and adventure that leaps from the pages of legend to the silver screen.
Starring the dynamic duo of Sanam Saeed and Usman Mukhtar, the film also boasts a star-studded ensemble cast Faran Tahir, Ali Kazmi, Adnan Siddiqui, Simi Raheal, Sana Fakhar, Manzar Sehbai, Daniyal Raheal, and Salmaan Shaukat. Director Nabeel Qureshi ropes in Gen-Z actors Aashir Wajahat and Samar Jafri in Na Baligh Afraad. The film also features, Ehteshamuddin, Saleem Mairaj, Faiza Hasan, Irfan Motiwala, Aadi Adeal Amjad, Arzu Fatima, Rimha Ahmed, and others.
Abhi
“Abhi” featuring Goher Mumtaz and Kubra Khan is a strong contender this Eid. Presented by Pennine Kennedy Films & GM Productions, the film is directed by Asad Malik. Mumtaz, who also co-produces with Ali Chaudry, promises a gripping storyline with a screenplay and dialogues by Shoaib Rabbani, ensuring a captivating cinematic experience this year.
IRaH
IraH, marks the returns of India films releasing in Pakistan. This Bollywood sci-fi adventure aims to unleash the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and overcome challenges faced by previous attempts in this genre. IRaH is not just a film; it’s an Indo-British collaboration with a stellar cast, including Rohit Roy, Karishma Kotak, Ameet Chana, Fagun Thakrar, and Rajesh Sharma in key roles. The synergy between the Indian and British film industries adds a distinctive flavour to the project.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die
Hollywood’s top action franchises is set to illuminate Pakistani cinemas this Eidul Azha, adding excitement to the festive celebrations. Will Smith returns as Detective Lieutenant Mike Lowrey. Kate del Castillo plays Isabel, a cartel leader’s wife who had an affair with Mike. Jacob Scipio is Armando, Mike’s son. Mike’s partner, Marcus Burnett, is the other main character.

The Disney and Pixar film is directed by Kelsey Mann and includes the voices of Maya Hawke, Ayo Edebiri, Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Tony Hale and Liza Lapira.The animated film takes audiences back into the mind of Riley, who is now a teenager.
