Babar Azam has returned to form in spectacular fashion, smashing a commanding 100 runs to mark his 20th ODI century during Pakistan’s clash with Sri Lanka. This milestone comes after a long wait of more than 800 days and 83 international innings without a ton.

With this achievement, Babar now stands among the fastest players to reach 20 ODI centuries, sitting just behind South Africa’s Hashim Amla and India’s Virat Kohli. He has also drawn level with Saeed Anwar for the most ODI centuries by a Pakistani batter.
Unsurprisingly, his fans erupted with excitement, celebrating the end of a lengthy dry spell and the triumphant return of their star batter
