Pakistani star Ayesha Omar is stepping into uncharted territory as the host of Lazawaal Ishq (Eternal Love) — a bold new reality dating show that’s making history for Urdu-speaking audiences worldwide. Adapted from the hit Turkish format Aşk Adası, the show will premiere on YouTube and promises an explosive mix of love, drama, alliances, and heartbreak.
Speaking from Istanbul, where the show is being filmed over five weeks, Omar described the project as “a first of its kind for Pakistani and Urdu-speaking viewers.”
The format is simple but sizzling: four men and four women move into a luxurious Turkish villa, every moment captured by cameras. Across 100 episodes, contestants will face challenges, games, rivalries, and emotional twists as they search for true love. At the end, one couple will be crowned winners, walking away with both love and a prize.
“This show is all about love, bonding, and competition,” Omar revealed. “The journey is unpredictable, and the audience will experience every spark, every fight, and every heartfelt connection.”
The promo teases sweeping shots of the Bosphorus, with Omar cruising across the sea before welcoming contestants into a glamorous house complete with a pool. “In this quest for love, every interaction will be watched,” she tells viewers. “Games, challenges, and emotions will reveal who truly belongs together.”
The eight contestants are then seen arriving, luggage in hand, ready to risk it all for romance.
Already a sensation in Turkish, Persian (Eshghe Abadi), and Arabic (Qesma w Naseeb), the franchise now makes its way to Pakistan with a glossy Urdu spin. With Ayesha Omar at the helm, Lazawaal Ishq aims to give Urdu audiences their very own Love Island-style obsession — a mix of passion, glamour, and reality-TV fireworks.
