Popular Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has finally addressed the burning question — why has she been missing from television screens lately?
In a bold and candid statement, the Superstar actress revealed the toxic realities of the drama industry, citing inappropriate conduct by male colleagues, delayed payments, and a lack of professionalism as her primary reasons for distancing herself from TV projects.
“I was tired of being treated unethically. Waiting 3 to 4 months just to get paid for my hard work, and having to repeatedly ask for it, is not something I want to tolerate anymore,” Alizeh said.
She further emphasized that going forward, she will only work in environments where she’s treated with respect and dignity, and where payments are made on time.
Perhaps most shockingly, Alizeh also called out the inappropriate behavior of some married male actors, stating that certain individuals cross professional boundaries and make female colleagues uncomfortable.
Despite receiving online criticism for her fashion choices, she made it clear that she has never compromised her integrity to land roles, nor will she ever.
“Critics may talk about my clothes, but I’ve never used unethical means to get work,” she added confidently.
