Pakistan’s beloved superstar Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor are all set to grace the big screen together in the much-anticipated romantic film Abeer Gilal, which is now scheduled for a global release.
Directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by Vivek B. Aggarwal, the film is slated to release on September 12, 2025, across 75 countries on over 1,000 cinema screens worldwide.
The movie was originally scheduled to hit cinemas on August 29, 2025, but due to heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, its release in India was put on hold. The producers have now decided to move forward with a worldwide release, excluding India.
Despite this, the producers are confident that Abeer Gilal will perform strongly at the international box office, noting its wide appeal across global audiences. In Pakistan, however, the film will premiere as originally planned on August 29, 2025, where fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
“Even without a release in India, Abeer Gilal has the potential to achieve remarkable success at the international level,” said the producers in a statement.
With star power, cross-border collaboration, and an emotionally charged storyline, Abeer Gilal is expected to captivate audiences worldwide.
