Ever since Mushkil started; our excitement knew no limits, only to be skyrocketing high with each episode. It steadily climbed the popularity charts, and rightfully so. The daily soap easily turned out to be one of the finest entertainer to have been produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The drama-watching audience and TRP’s went bonkers over this Marina Khan directorial. The show concluded last week, we at Fashion Times Magazine bring you five reasons why Mushkil will be sorely missed. Read on…

1. Khushhal Khan and Saboor Aly’s Chemistry

The very first and obvious reason why we loved Mushkil was the leading pair. Khushhal and Saboor’s chemistry left us in awe. Their heart-winning performances were one of the reasons behind its success. A special mention to Saboor’s performance as any project that stars her turns out to be fabulous; it’s like the actor has got the Midas touch of striking the right chord with the viewers. Khusshal got the opportunity to play the lead and he did complete justice to his role. We can’t help but praise Khushhal as Faraz, the way he portrayed his character with absolute ease and convenience.

2. Zainab Shabbir as the Vicious Hareem

In an exclusive interview, Zainab revealed that Marina Khan wanted to cast an innocent face to play the cunning Hareem. Undoubtedly, Khan deserves full marks for reposing absolute faith in an actress who hasn’t really proved herself as a classic performer, Zainab Shabbir for the most vital role in the show. Mushkil is indeed a game changer for Zainab. She took the madness many notches higher and didn’t attempt to overpower the other two leads. Resultantly she looked stunning and delivered a memorable act.

3. Unique Directions

The premise of Mushkil had all the ingredients of a typical daily soap i.e. a love triangle, saas-bahu fights and domestic politics. The unique treatment and depiction of various nuances by Marina Khan were supreme. Khan made the viewers fully invested by her mature and powerful execution. The massy script by Adeel Razzaq had well-fleshed-out characters and the narrative was peppered with ample drama at regular intervals. What worked best was the unusual chemistry shared by the three actors. The trio was at loggerheads and yet shared some sort of chemistry and this was a very unique aspect of Mushkil.

4. Dependable Supporting Cast

The success of any project depends on the story, interesting characters and getting the right people for the job as well. And Mushkil managed to do that perfectly. Saifee Hassan, Behroze Sabzwari, Laila Wasti and Shagufta Ejaz added all their experience in taking the narrative forward. Post the super success of Rang Mahal, Humayoun Ashraf is seen in a different light altogether. And he proves his mettle yet again in Mushkil. He looks dashing and gives a confident performance.

5. Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi Midas Touch

Decoding the power in breaking stereotypes of the entertainment world, 7th Sky Entertainment is the only production house that plays a significant role in bringing up meaningful content to flourish the entertainment fraternity in Pakistan. For many of us, television dramas are one of the best ways to relax and enjoy. And trust 7th Sky Entertainment to have a show for every mood. In conclusion, with Mushkil they add another feather in their illustrious cap.
