Janjal Pura (Geo Entertainment)

Bankrolled by 7th sky entertainment, Janjal Pura brings back the ‘Dum Mastam’ jodi Amar Khan and Imran Ashraf. The show is written by Amar Khan and directed by Saima Waseem. According to close sources, the narrative of the show isn’t based on cousin marriages. It is shot in Lahore and will feature Ashraf in a never seen avatar. His last on-screen appearance was Chaudhry and Sons in (2022) so the pressure of delivering a hit would be there. Amar is handling two departments acting and writing, we hope the duo will do justice and continue their winning streak with Janjal Pura.

Untitled Show (Geo Entertainment)

The next project under the banner of 7th sky entertainment will feature Muneeb Butt and Komal Meer in leading roles. Butt and Meer’s camaraderie in the ongoing drama serial ‘Qalandar’ is already winning hearts. It would be interesting to see their equation in a light-hearted Ramadan show. The untitled project is written by Samra Bukhari and directed by Zeeshan Ahmed.

Untitled Show (Hum TV)

New on-screen pairings play a vital role in drawing the viewers’ attention. In this regard, HUM TV has always encouraged new talent and their untitled upcoming Ramadan show marks the debut of Asif Raza Mir’s son Adnan Raza Mir. It also stars Hamza Sohail and Sehar Khan in pivotal roles. The show is directed by ‘Paristan’ fame Ali Hassan and is written by Saira Najeeb.

Chand Tara (Hum TV)

The Ramadan shows list isn’t complete without Danish Nawaz. He has the perfect recipe for directing a Ramadan Special show. ‘Chupke Chupke’ and ‘Hum Tum’ are proof of his command over his craft. Nawaz has roped in Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor for Chand Tara. Ayeza plays a doctor and Danish is a software engineer. Written by Saima Akram Chaudhry, the plot revolves around two individuals hailing from different worlds. The supporting cast of Chand Tara includes Romaisa Khan, Aashir Wajahat, Adnan Jaffar, Saba Faisal, Behroze Sabzwari, Madiha Iftikhar and Rehan Sheikh.
