ARY Digital’s latest drama serial SharPasand has quickly grabbed attention with its intense storyline and stellar performances. The first two episodes introduce us to Farasat Ali (Naumaan Ijaz) — a man who appears to be pious, kind, and respected in his community. But behind his gentle smile lies a manipulative and selfish mind.
His wife Rubina (Nadia Afgan) adores him blindly, believing every word he says and viewing the world exactly as he paints it.
Meanwhile, a young couple, Fida (Affan Waheed) and Sanam (Hareem Farooq), move into the same neighbourhood. Married for two years and living a seemingly happy life, their world collides with Farasat’s when his car accidentally hits Fida’s. To dodge responsibility, Farasat cunningly visits Fida’s house with food and fake apologies, quickly winning their trust and admiration.
Among the neighbours is Shazmeen (Hira Mani), a hardworking widow. When her electricity fails one evening, Farasat offers to help — but with sinister motives. When Shazmeen resists his inappropriate advances, Farasat flips the narrative, accusing her of wrongdoing instead. Because of his false reputation as a “righteous man,” the neighbourhood believes his lies, leaving Shazmeen isolated and shamed.
With deceit, manipulation, and hypocrisy at its core, SharPasand delivers a thrilling tale of how appearances can be dangerously misleading. Expect plenty of twists, emotional depth, and powerful performances that keep you hooked week after week.
Catch SharPasand every Wednesday and Thursday at 8 PM on ARY Digital.
