Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan have caught fans completely off guard by unveiling the first look of their upcoming film, ALBM, far earlier than anticipated. The unexpected reveal arrived just three days after the official wrap announcement, instantly igniting excitement across social media.
As a prelude to the teaser scheduled for January 3, the stars released a sharp 10-second video that sets an intriguing tone. Shot in intense close-ups, the clip shows Mustafa and Mahira wearing daku-style cloth masks, revealing only their piercing, watchful eyes. The camera glides past lockers overflowing with cash and coins as the duo stare back with a mix of mischief and ambition.
“Behind the masks are faces you know… and a story you don’t,” Mustafa hinted in his caption, adding to the mystery.
Written and directed by Bilal Altaf Khan, ALBM is said to be a comedy and features Fahad Mustafa, Mahira Khan, and Tabish Hashmi together on the big screen. The project is backed by ARY Films, Salman Iqbal Films, and Big Bang Films, with the official teaser dropping in the first week of the new year.
Earlier this week, Mustafa had also shared a photo of the film slate announcing the completion of shooting. “That’s a wrap on ALBM,” he wrote, calling the journey one of passion, precision, and storytelling, while promising fans that more surprises are on the way.
Following the runaway success of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, ALBM marks Fahad Mustafa’s return to on-screen acting and the big screen after over a year. Despite stepping back from acting, he has remained firmly in the spotlight through hosting, production, and the launch of his fashion label, Nine Figures.
Mahira Khan, on the other hand, was last seen during promotions for Neelofar, which reunited her with Fawad Khan and released on November 28.
The superstar duo was last seen together in the action-comedy Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad. With ALBM, they reunite once again — and judging by the first look, they’re already teasing a story packed with intrigue and entertainment.
