MiTE-TMUC Hosts Fashion & Textile Thesis Display: A Celebration of Creativity and Craftsmanship!

The Millennium Universal College (TMUC) and MiTE’s Faculty of Art and Design proudly hosted a captivating Fashion & Textile Thesis Display, showcasing the innovative talents of its graduating students. This event was a vibrant celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and conceptual storytelling, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the students.

The exhibition featured diverse collections, each telling a unique story. From the beauty in decay to themes exploring the human mind, cultural narratives, and personal journeys, the students presented designs that pushed creative boundaries while reflecting social and artistic insights.

The event was graced by prominent figures, including Former Senator Nasreen Jalil, Dr. Fauzia (MPA Sindh Assembly), industrialist Mr. Majeed Aziz, fashion designer Ms. Pareshay Adnan, Ms. Irum Fawwad, industry expert Mr. Masood Naqi, Mr. Khalid Ameen (CEO, Indus University), Mr. Zubair Bundukda (President, Textile Institute of Pakistan), and Mr. Farooq-e-Azam (Dean, KSBL). Students from Hunar Foundation and Ida Rieu College also attended, creating a diverse and inspiring audience.

The thesis display offered a platform for graduating students to present their final collections, covering themes such as sustainability, cultural heritage, personal identity, and social impact. Each collection was a testament to the students’ creative evolution and their ability to translate ideas into visually stunning fashion and textile pieces.

Commenting on the occasion, Former Senator Nasreen Jalil remarked, “This event is not just a display of talent; it’s a testament to how education can empower the next generation of designers to create with meaning and impact. We are immensely proud of our students and their achievements.”
