For the unversed, Jafri was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 in its third stage, but she recovered and relocated to Pakistan’s northern areas, where she stayed for two to three years.
The late actor was in the news earlier this year when she requested channels to pay her royalties for rerunning her dramas multiple times. Director Furqan T Siddiqui shared the video straight from the hospital.

As per reports, Nyla turned down the offer.
She was one of PTV’s golden-era actors, who had been performing on television since the late 1990s. She gained fame for her stellar performances in drama serials such as Aa Mujh ko Satana, Desi Girls, and Thodi Si Khushiyan. Her last appearances were in Khushboo Ka Safar and Ghalti in 2016. Apart from acting, Nyla was also a fashion designer and had a clothing boutique.
