The full-length trailer of Money Back Guarantee can best be summed up in one word breathtakingly phenomenal. Living up to the prodigious hype fabricated around it, the film’s trailer topples over its hype. The trailer shows a flair for moving beyond the regular comedy, chase, and action to hint at something more edgy and gripping.
The Money Back Guarantee trailer at its run time of 2.43 minutes is slick along with a zestful doze of visual confetti added to it. We are right away introduced to the characters via brief snippets. A robbery is being planned, the target is Pak Bank. We see Fawad’s character instructing a bunch of politicians to maintain their image to get votes. Huge piles of money, elaborate dance sequences, and the energy is inexplicably high and fascinating. The good bit for the audiences is that the comic crime thriller has escalated the audience expectation notches higher than what we saw in the teaser.
However, it again isn’t entirely faultless. In the first instance of watching the trailer, you’ll be reminded of the Spanish show Money Heist. It would again be erroneous to term the film’s premise as unoriginal merely based on its first glance, but the resemblances between them are both uncanny and unmissable.
One cannot even doubt the marvel of fabulous narrative that it will entail, however, the presence of Fawad Khan and the huge stellar cast is enough for audiences to hope that this one will be something way more content-driven. The best part of the trailer has to be the justice that it does to every character. It is commendable since not many trailers turn out to be successful in doing that. Our last note would be it was hard to take our eyes off the trailer, and we are expecting something unbeatably enigmatic from the film too.
