Riding high on the success of consecutive television blockbusters like Parizaad, Ishq-e-la, Dobara and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, HUM TV is back with another promising outing, Sang e Mah featuring a dynamic cast of Kubra Khan, Hania Aamir, Nauman Ejaz, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, Omair Rana, Zaviyar Ejaz and Hasan Noman. ย For the unversed, Sang e Mah is the sequel to 2016’s super hit Sang-e-Mar Mar, starring Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, Naumaan Ijaz and Mikaal Zulfiqar. The show won big at the 5th Hum Awards in 2017.
Adding to the excitement of this drama is the fact that legendary singer Atif Aslam will mark his television debut with the project. And the teasers filled with a strong premise have definitely left us wanting more. According to YouTube’s description, Sang e Mah is a transcendent tale of love and retribution. Directed by Saife Hassan and written by Mustafa Afridi, it is produced by Momina Duraid Productions.

The world of Sang e Mah as seen in the teasers seems to encompass emotions. While the teasers do little to tell the story of the drama, from what we can guess is that the story will revolve around a range of different characters across generations. The teasers have done well in creating the mystery and suspense around the story and the characters.

What immediately catches the eyes are the fascinating visuals of the show. Shot on real outdoor locations the visual appeal of the show is high. The traditional costumes with minimal make-up seem authentic and in synchronization with the world being portrayed. The scenes where only expressions are used instead of dialogues, such as Hania and Sania Saeedโs sequence, are nicely edited for a teaser.
