The tragic deaths of 23 people stranded in their vehicles during a snowstorm in Murree on Friday night shook the nation. Many hashtags surfaced on Twitter calling for the boycott of the popular tourist destination after snowstorm reports surfaced of hotels charging up to PKR 40,000 to stranded families.
Supermodel Hasnain Lehri took to Instagram and said that he will boycott in protest of the ruthless practices of the hotel ‘Mafia’.

He further said that he will not be doing any shoots in Murree

The incident is being under investigation by a five-member committee formed by the government of Punjab.
Earlier celebrities like Faysal Qureshi, Saba Qamar, Mahira Khan, Meesha Shafi, Aremena Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, and many others offered their prayers and condolences for the deceased.
