Amar Khan’s rise to fame is nothing short of phenomenal. She’s one actress who’s got the vision to grab the meatiest role every time she appears on screen, resulting in spectacular growth in her career. This year, 2021, has added a whole new dimension to her. Khan is on cloud nine as she carried on her good form with drama serial ‘Qayamat’, one of the biggest hits of the year.
As the news regarding her next project started to surface, we at Fashion Times Magazine gave her a call for details. “It’s called ‘Baddua’, the drama serial is produced by Abdullah Seja (iDreams). This is my first ever collaboration with ARY Digital. I am very excited about it as I haven’t been on the ARY screen.”
Speaking about her character, Khan said: “I play a girl who isn’t a damsel in distress; the boy (Muneeb Butt) isn’t an abuser or a possessive husband. It’s going to be an interesting story for the viewers. One thing I can guarantee is that my role is poles a part of what I have done before.”
‘Baddua’ is written by Sameena Aijaz best known for (Yaariyan and Kaisa Hai Naseeban). It is directed by Ramis Rizvi of (Jhooti) fame. Apart from Amar and Muneeb, the play also stars veterans Samina Ahmed and Mehmood Aslam in important roles.
