Skipped the trailer and went straight for the movie and what a spectacular journey it was! Director Laxman Utekar’s “Mimi” displays every emotion-humor or emotional – with perfection. Kriti Sanon has given her career best performance especially in those emotional scenes. Pankaj Tripathi is simply a class apart. Sai Tamhankar was a great support along with Manoj Pahwa & Supriya Pathak. American couple Evelyn and Aiden were very well cast. The film is an AR Rahman Musical but not a typical album. Music is unique in its own way. The maestro has outdone himself especially with “Rihaayi De”. In conclusion, we definitely recommend “Mimi” for a family viewing experience. It’ll get you teary-eyed while you laugh your guts out!
