Inside the Shahmir Shunaid’s reception with a galaxy of stars
Founder of HUM Network Sultana Siddique hosted a star-studded reception in Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi this weekend, in anticipation of her grandson Shahmeer Shunaid and Hasnat Hashwani tying the knot.
The valima reception was a star-filled extravaganza followed by a Qawali night. From Mahira Khan and Mansha Pasha to Humayun Saeed; the entertainment fraternity came together to celebrate and congratulate Shunaid’s and Hashwani’s nuptials.

Mahira Khan looked stunning in an old school gharara by Mohsin Naveed Ranjha. The all-beige ensemble paired with statement earrings and open hair looked on point. The actress is gearing up for her comeback venture on TV ‘Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay’. She looked super cute posing with the incredible Yumna Zaidi.
Imran Ashraf was style personified in his trademark black suit. The actor is currently basking with the success of his last venture Raqs-e-Bismil.
Trust the king Humayun Saeed to nail another menswear-outing. Going all-black has never looked this good.
Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz looked great together, with the former dressed in a white shalwar kameez and waistcoat and the latter in a well-put-together blue outfit.
Zahid Khan was also among the star attraction. He looked dapper dressed in a black suit for the event. He will share the screen space along with Mahira Khan in an upcoming short film directed by Shehreyar Munawar.
This woman knows how to dress. Sarah Khan posed for the cameras dressed in an elegant blue silk saree. Her dress truly complimented her husband’s all-black shalwar kameez. The actress is all set to mesmerize in HUM TV’s upcoming play Lapatta.
Zara Noor Abbas was a vision in a black outfit with a red dupatta. The big gold jhumkas with red lips and tied hairdo sealed her look to perfection.
Next in line Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari looked elegant in matching black outfits. Looking very oomph was Saboorโs lehenga choli with no accessories. Girls, take note
Nida Yasir in her Rozina Munib outfit was looking very pretty without trying hard at all. The red outfit itself was quite beautiful and so was the choker on her neck.

Amar Khan is known for her amazing fashion sense. And she put it to good use here. Something different from the lehengas and dresses, Khan was a sight to behold in a silver on white ensemble designed by Farah Talib Aziz. The star looked graceful as she teamed the outfit with simple pearl earrings and completed her look with open hair, heels and on-point makeup. Lovely!

Finally, it was Mansha Pasha’s in a Zuria Dor lehenga choli that drew a lot of praise. She looked all kinds of cute and attractive. The color combination and the golden embroidery on the dupatta looked classy. Pasha without a doubt was the shiniest guest at the event. Full marks!
