Ingredients
Eggs: 3
Flour: 3/4th of a cup
Ghee: 1 cup
Sugar: 1 cup (powdered)
Cocoa powder: 3 tbsp (heaped)
Baking powder: 1 tsp (leveled)
Vanilla essence: 1tsp
Milk: 1 tsp
Walnuts: 3/4th of a cup
Method:
Step 1: Preheat the oven at 180 marks. Grease the baking tray (8×8 inch) with butter, line it with butter paper.
Step 2: Sieve together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and sugar. Keep aside. With the help of an egg beater, beat the eggs, ghee, vanilla essence and milk together. Now add the dry ingredients to it. Beat until a fine mixture is formed. Add walnuts, mix well and pour the batter into the baking tin. Bake it for 40 minutes.
Important Note: Don’t open the door of the oven before 20 minutes. The best way to check it is by inserting a toothpick into the sponge. If it comes out clean, it’s done.
