The multitalented Ali Zafar teamed up with Gul Panra for his first Pashto song Larsha Pekhawar.The song rocked the nation and has clocked 50 million views in three months. The track trended number one on the video streaming website for around five weeks in Sept and October 2021.
Lightingale Records shared the news on their Instagram by posting a snippet of the music video of Larsha Pekhawar with the captions “Biggest Hit of the year 2021”, “Reached 52 million views on YouTube organically in three months” and “And still growing”.
The song was a homage to the Pashtun culture, and it connected big time with the masses all across the nation. The song ranked number 1 on the video streaming platform YouTube with a few hours of its release.The music has been composed by Hassan Badshah and the video’s direction has been done by Waleed Akram.
According to the music video’s description on YouTube, the song is a dedication to “Pashtun brothers and sisters” and is “a tribute to their vibrant culture, values, and most of all bravery.”
