Actor Usman Mukhtar to file a lawsuit against harassment allegations by artist Mehrooz Waseem

Actor Usman Mukhtar recently opened up on being harassed, blackmailed and bullied in the industry. Without naming, he accused a ‘woman’ of harassment. The star, who rose to fame from his drama serial Anaa, recently reflected on his personal experience that precisely began in 2016, when he was hired to direct a female artist’s music video.

The actor on Tuesday took to Instagram and penned a long note on being a victim of harassment, at the hands of a colleague for more than a year.

In the series of posts carrying his claims, Mukhtar also shared a screenshot of the woman he has accused, whereby she can be seen apologizing.

In another post, Mukhtar requested for people to “find out facts before jumping to conclusions.” Providing the case number in FIA — “239/20” — Mukhtar has said the person’s shared statement is a “word document that can be drafted by anyone.”

The latest development in this case is that Waseem has leaked voice notes accusing Mukhtar of ‘threatening’ her.
